Controllerism
Mixing music videos is cool, but soon to be played out. Now that a lot of other djs are finally coming around (thanks to serato), mixing video will soon be the norm. To stay on that Techno curve and maximize my efficiency, i have stumbled upon a new (well revisited) concept called Controllerism. Controllerism is the art of manipulating sounds and creating music live using computer controllers and software. Check out how others (like Moldover) are creating their own midi controller fit for purpose. My end goal for this project is to create, modify and master my own midi controller. Last night i have completed my 3rd major update to my microKONTROL keyboard configuration. I will post the serato midi map file once i have tested it out a few times live.
